I always say that of all the Turkish dizis I’ve seen (and by now I’ve seen quite a few) there are three I would consider to be classics: Kuzey Guney, Asi and Karadayi. By classic I mean time tested and of universal. A series that is as enjoyable the tenth time you watch it as it is the first time you watch it. Karadayi starring Kenan Imirzalioglu and Berguzar Koral is such a series. It’s one of those series that I can turn to on a snowy winter day, snuggled warmly under my covers. It’s like my favorite comfort food, grilled cheese and tomato soup. It’s 115 two hour episodes of pure stimulation. Read here to see what I mean.
